Calvary Chapel Yomitan began in August of 2017 in the home of pastor Andrew Neely and his wife Kayo. The first church building was located in a rural area of Yomitan Village, mostly surrounded by sugarcane and shikwasa-lime trees. Our current location is in the Kina neighborhood of Yomitan Village, right off highway 58.

As a multicultural congregation of believers, our services and Bible studies are held in both English and Japanese, with side-by-side translation. Our worship services are laid-back and we sing worship songs together in both English and Japanese.

Our heart’s desire is to see the people of Okinawa experience the grace and forgiveness of Jesus Christ and receive His gift of eternal life.
